Snow Day Camp Fun

When the weather outside is frightful, school is cancelled, and kids need a safe place to go, what do you do?

Send your kids to the Rec for Snow Day Camp, of course!

You can't take that!
Get him!
If Steal the Bacon doesn't suit your fancy, try some quiet Lego play.

K-1 Basketball

Our Kindergarten-1st grade youth basketball program ended with lots of smiles. This group met 6 weeks on Saturday mornings to learn basic skills and rules of the game while having fun. Tag was a great way to sneak in ball-handling practice. Relay races helped with dribbling and speed. Each child grew in skills and confidence over the course of the program.

Lots of smiles on the last day of K-1 basketball

We had a great first week of Afterschool Enrichment!

Fall programs are underway! The afterschool program at the Old Town Rec is filled with fun activities for the kids. Each age group rotates between arts & crafts and sports that are age-appropriate to ensure that your child has a safe and fun time. We recently partnered with our Tactical Nerf friends and had a Nerf gun battle during our afternoon program! The kids had a blast! We are so excited for the fall and can't wait to see your kids every day!

We love the outdoors!
Some Nerf team members needed a refill of darts.
These ladies made some gifts to give away. How sweet!
What a beautiful creation!
Our counselors love to help your kids!
Even dads like crafts at the Rec!
